Our Story
Blackbird Décor started out as a hobby during lockdown 1.0. After years of living the corporate life and commuting into Canary Wharf, I (Amie) found my creative side again, and alongside my mum (Denise), started making candles. Through multiple experiments and after a lot of trial & error, we found a niche in the market – round marbled candles! Now, having left the corporate world, we have embarked on a journey to create marbled handmade pieces. As a start up we try our best to reduce our carbon footprint where possible and support UK businesses. Our wax is CO2 neutral, gift wrapped in recyclable packaging and we use UK and local suppliers.
