Our new Sicilian wine hamper brings you a taste of this wine-lover’s paradise island! Some of Italy’s finest wines are now being made in Sicily with a new generation of Sicilian producers realising the full potential of the island’s fantastic climate, fertile and native grape varieties and placing Sicily firmly at the centre of Italian wine-making. The emphasis is on quality over quantity with many producers experimenting with innovative production models and organic farming. 23 DOC wines are produced on this sunny island and there are 19 classified native grape varieties. The wines included in this hamper are all organic, natural and suitable for vegetarians.
Our three wines are carefully packed in a strong red hamper box which is tied with a lovely ribbon. A gift message option is available at the checkout for you to send a personalised message to your recipient.

- Vinupetra Etna Rosso Organic (750cl) This is a elegant natural red wine from the Northern slopes of the volcano Mount Etna, produced by Salvo Foti, a renowned expert in natural viniculture. Etna Rosso is made from a blend of two local grapes Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio and it gets its strength from the volcanic terroir. It has deep, dark ripe plum and cherry aromas balanced by freshness and a juicy, fruity vibrancy leading into a complex palate of ripe fruit, smokey oak, succulent berries, and exotic spices, with rich tannis and a long finish. This wine is racked and bottled following the phases of the moon and produced naturally. Alcohol: 14%
- Cerasuolo di Vittoria Cos Organic (750cl) Produced in South Eastern Sicily from a blend of Nero d’Avola (60%) and Frappato (40%) grapes, this Cerasuolo is a light bodied, bio-dynamic red wine. It was the first Sicilian wine to be given the DOCG status and has a brilliant ruby red colour and wonderfully concentrated aromas of black cherry, plum, raspberry, blueberry, violet, tobacco and vanilla. This wine was scored 90/100 by Wine Searcher who collate scores and awards from the world’s top palates. The 100 point scale is the most common way of scoring wine and a score between 90 and 94 signifies an ‘Outstanding wine of superior character and style’. Pair with pasta dishes, risottos, beef and lamb. Alcohol: 13%
- Pithos Bianco ‘Orange Wine’ Biodynamic Organic (750cl) Pithos Bianco is a white wine made from 100% Grecanico grapes. The palate is complex, nutty & spicy with savoury, mineral notes. This is a powerful and broad wine with hints of peach, dried apricot, spice and nut flavours. Serve slightly chilled, as an aperitivo wine (it is fairly low in alcohol) or to accompany a wide range of foods including curry dishes, Moroccan, Ethiopian, Korean, Japanese cuisine. Excellent with pasta dishes, risotto wiith seafood, a variety of meats and grilled fish. Alcohol: 11.5%

Please note that hampers with fresh ingredients such as cheese and meat which are not dispatched on a Friday.
Next day courier delivery to UK Mainland is £5.50. The cut off time for placing orders for next day delivery is 1pm Monday to Thursday.
Orders placed on a Friday before the cut off time will be delivered on Monday (if Saturday delivery is not selected). This excludes hampers with fresh ingredients such as cheese and meat which are not dispatched on a Friday (unless Saturday delivery has been selected).
Saturday delivery is £14.50 and should be selected if you need the hamper to be delivered at the weekend.
