This beautiful traditional Tibetan Singing Bowl is handmade in India, near the foothills of the Himalayas. It comes with a solid mango wood mallet and the bowl is hand hammered to create the perfect, calming and meditative sound. Tibetan singing bowls are used for yoga, meditation and spiritual healing by energy healers and spirituality practitioners. The sound and vibrations promote a relaxed state, ideal for deep meditation, relaxation and inspiration! It is believed that the healing sounds reduce stress and promote spiritual, mental and physical healing. Legend has it that this singing bowl is made of a sublime alloy of seven metals, each linked to a star.

There are two ways to play a singing bowl. The first is to strike the side of the bowl with the mallet. The second is to rub the rim of the bowl with the mallet. The vibrations produced by initially striking the bowl make it much easier to play for beginners. Gradually, you can experiment with different techniques.
Each handmade singing bowl is hand-inspected and tested to ensure perfect sound quality.
